  • With Extended Benefits: A prescription will be provided for the Botox drug, which can be filled at a local pharmacy. A $250 injection fee applies.

  • Without Insurance: $6 per unit, with no injector fee.

  • Time: 45 minutes  - 25 minutes for numbing cream and 20 minutes for treatment

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

How Many Units?

  • Most patients require 100 units per palm (200 units total).

  • Dosage may vary based on hand size.

Does It Hurt?

  • A strong numbing cream is applied 30 minutes before treatment to reduce discomfort.

  • Your doctor may also use a nerve block or additional pain relief techniques to improve comfort.

Are There Any Risks?

  • Possible bruising and temporary discomfort.

  • Mild muscle weakness in the hands may occur but is usually temporary.
